Is the chat room source code encrypted?
The chat room software is 100% open source. You may modify the source code but you must not copy, distribute or resell this software.

What server requirements do i need to install the Pro Chat Rooms?
The minimum install requirements are:

A PHP enabled server with 1 MySQL database.
PHP 4.1.0 or above
MySQL 3.22.32 or above

:: Flash Webcams Plugin (audio/visual)

Red5, Flash Media Server or Wowser

Alternatively, we do offer our own Flash Webcam hosting packages with prices starting at just $20 per month. All our hosted webcam packages currently include unlimited users/webcams and bandwidth*.

What server requirements do i need to install the Flash Webcams?
The Flash Webcam plugin requires a dedicated server with either RED5, FMS (Flash Media Server) or Wowser. If you do not have a dedicated server or RED5, FMS or Wowser installed on your server, we offer an unlimited users webcam hosting packages for $20 per month.

Do you offer an installation service?
Yes. We offer a free installation service when you purchase the Pro Chat Rooms script, (if requested at the time of purchase).

We will contact you within 24 hours asking for your installation details. By providing us with the required information as soon as possible, this can help us to speed up the installation process. All installations are completed within 1-2 business days.

Typically we will request the information below to install the Pro Chat Rooms on a web server,
a) your FTP information
b) your phpMyAdmin or MySQL database details (host name, username, password, database or cpanel info)

The details below will also be requested for integrating the Pro Chat Rooms with an existing content system,
c) your content system name (eg. phpbb, aeDating, osDate etc)
d) a test/demo membership login details at your website for testing the final integration.

Please note: We are not able to provide an installation service during weekends, bank holidays or company holiday periods. Our free installation service applies to non-integrated chat rooms and supported content systems (CMS). We are unable to provide a free installation service for unsupported content systems, please feel free to contact us for more information.

How long does it take to process my purchase?
After we receive your payment you will receive details on how to download the Pro Chat Rooms script via email within 1-2 hours. However, we do ask that you allow up to 24 hours during busy periods (or 48 hours during weekends) before contacting us. Please ensure your mail server is set up to receive emails from Pro Chat Rooms to avoid any delay.

Do you offer a free trial?
No. Currently we do not offer a free trial. We recommend you fully evaluate the Pro Chat Rooms online demo before purchasing.

Do you offer an affiliate or reseller program?
No. We do not operate an affiliate or reseller program at this time.

Do i have to pay for Pro Chat Rooms upgrades?
No. Currently we supply free upgrades and technical support to customers for the life of the Pro Chat Rooms script.

How do i change my software licence domain name?
To change your licence domain name, please contact us with your new domain name and we will update your licence details.

Can i modify/customise the Pro Chat Rooms coding?
Yes. You may modify the source code but you must not copy, distribute or resell this software. Please read the software licence for full details.

Do you offer any source code customisation services?
Yes. We are more than happy to modify the Pro Chat Rooms script to suit your own requirements. Please contact our technical team for more details.

Can i translate the Pro Chat Rooms to another language?
Yes. You can translate the Pro Chat Rooms script to other languages by editing the default language file.

Can i add my own logos and background images?
Yes. You can add your own custom logos and background images to the Pro Chat Rooms.

What code language is the Pro Chat Rooms written in?
The Pro Chat Rooms script is written in PHP, MySQL and AJAX.

Can i install the Pro Chat Rooms on more than 1 domain?
No, only one chat room installation per domain name is allowed (unless installing within sub-domains of the registered domain name). Additional installations on other domain names require additional licences.

For example - the following is allowed as each installation is within the same domain name,

yoursite.com
anything.yoursite.com
something.yoursite.com

The following is NOT allowed and additional licences must be purchased for each installation,

yoursite.com
mysite.com
theirsite.com

Can i integrate the chat room with my content system?
Yes, the Pro Chat Rooms will integrate with over 30 different content systems, forums and dating software (including custom databases)- View All. This allows your members to login to the chat room without entering their login details twice.

If you content system is not included, please feel free to contact us for further assistance.

How many smileys can i upload to the chatroom?
A maximum of 32 smileys can be added to the prochatrooms script.

Can i remove the Pro Chat Rooms copyright links?
To remove the Pro Chat Room copyright links you will need to purchase the ''Remove Branding'' plugin. Removing the Pro Chat Room copyright links without permission will result in your software licence being terminated.

What is your refund policy?
Our Refund Policy is as follows (as stated in the License Agreement) - I agree and understand that refunds are based on Software failure, NOT server issues or lack of features. Refunds CANNOT be issued in cases where your server does not have MySQL or PHP properly installed. Refunds are provided ONLY AFTER our technical support has assisted in your installation and the Software fails to function fully. Pro Chat Rooms will determine if a refund is necessary based on individual situations. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AFTER 14 DAYS FROM PURCHASE DATE.
